Muse was the guest band, which happens to be the band I wanted to go watch in DALLAS.
I think this '10 will be their year.

Internship
so, wednesday night, an editor for vidicom was talking to me, and he was telling me how i've only worked 6 days there, and everyone loves me, and they're all talking about how talented I am when I'm not there....
And, he told me that there is position opening up, but it's 'hush hush' and for me not to say anything, but the producers are considering me for the position! AH!
So, he told me to email the producer I work under just inquiring about positions and such, so I did. I just sent it, so, of course, I haven't heard back from her yet, but I've got my fingers crossed.
They do, however, have this 3 month policy, where an intern has to work for them for 3 months before they're considered for a position within the company, so i figure they won't give me the position, but you never know. The only thing is, there is another intern that is pretty good, but he's been there 2 months already, and I'm just as good as him already. He's just now getting to where he can make 2 packages in one day, and I can do that, no big deal.
So, his 3 months will be up sooner than mine, but he is still in school, and I am not. hmm.. I've still got my fingers crossed!

Today, a man tried to convince me to give him my phone number. he said he was going to take me to the movies.
Also, last night, a man played his airguitar for me at the laundromat. Was telling me how the white stripes say they're gonna go to Arkansas in their song Seven Nation Army
For the record, I looked that up when I got home. They said, I'm going to Witchita.

Yesterday
A girl asked me if there are any buildings in Arkansas.
I giggled and told her no.
In my defense, she then asked if there are 20 story apartment buildings, and there aren't.
Also, made a new friend Tyrell. While I was on my 30, he gave me a baking lesson and told me all of his favorite cheeses. It's going to be a beautiful friendship.

Times Square
Worked there yesterday. Wasn't thrilled about it, and I'm not thrilled to go back to work there Saturday and Sunday.
Picture this, a person walks up to you. He/she doesn't know english very well, at all. You have trouble understanding one another. He/she wants to know if you've ever seen any celebrities. He wants to know where there's a candy store? He wants to know where Brad and Angelina live. And last of all, he wants to know what is the difference in a latte and a cappuccino, what goes into a pumpkin spice latte, and how long the decaf coffee has been sitting there, and then purchases a grande orange tea.
Now, imagine this being EVERY customer.
Yep, that's why I don't like working in Time Square.

The past couple of days
Friday night, I camped outside of Rockefeller Center with a ton of other people to get free stand-by tickets to SNL.
IT WAS FREEZING!
but well worth it!
Saturday night, I not only went to SNL, but I met Kelly and Ryan from The Office, Alexis Bledel, (From gilmore girls) and Malin Akerman (who played Tess on 27 Dresses).
I SAW Al Gore, and some chick from Glee? (I don't watch that show, but the asian boy sitting next to me was blushing from excitement. we called him 'cute' for watching Glee)
OH, and Dave Matthews Band played, and Andrew Joseph Gordon was the guest. Anyway, it was AWESOME!
Then, Sunday night, I went to Gotham City Comedy Club in Chelsea to see Ralphie Mays. He has had two comedy central specials, but his fame stems from being on the show known as "The Biggest Loser". Although he lost 250lbs, he is still a rather LARGE guy.
But hilarious, none the less. And, he's from Clarksville, Arkansas.
Today, started the Internship. It was awesome.
Once it makes its way to the website, I'll post the video I made today. Should be up soon.

mailman
my friend blake has been trying to mail me a letter for two days now, apparently.
he put it in his mailbox, and everyday when he goes to check the mail, there it is, along with 2 or 3 new letters.
"Dear Mailman,
The mailbox is broken. It isn't sending my mail.
Sincerely, Blake"
he seriously left this note in the box.
i laughed so hard!

NBC
i was on the news this morning. Random.
I had just walked out of Barnes and Noble, where I had bought Ellen Degeneres's book. (Don't hate me, nanny.) When a lady with a camera stopped me and asked me to do an interview. She asked if I had bought the Sara Palin book, I said no, and she was like "oh, i like your voice! lets do the interview anyway".
Lol. see where being southern gets ya? On midday news!
So, I start working for Vidicom on Monday, and I start Starbucks on Tuesday. woot! I'm ready to start working. All this walking around is getting boring. I'm learning Queens, but I've been visiting Manhattan because it's familiar, and less overwhelming. That makes sense, right? Busy, lots of traffic, loud, and less overwhelming than quiet Queens. Yeah......
I wonder what I will do tomorrow? Perhaps visit some friends.
Oh, I met my district manager today, as well. He didn't want to put me in the store because I was coming from a less volume store, and wanted to know why I had chosen it. I told him I used to work at the store. All of a sudden, his tone changed, and he was thrilled to have me at that store. Makes sense....

i live in new york
crazy!
ok, so crazy thing that happened today, i had just left the apple store, where I got my new ipod touch, and i ran into Bob Miller on 5th Avenue. CRAZY! (Bob is the owner of Bulldog in Bald Knob, and my former boss.) Apparently his daughter Whitney is living in New York now, and he and Lece were visiting.
That's all for now.

Cale Mills

Name: Cale Mills
Age: 25
Location: Conway
Job: Musician
Email: AR.bachelor09@gmail.com
In his own words: "There's somebody who's perfect for me, so I'll be patient and wait for that."
In five years, he hopes to be: "Recording albums and married"
He can't lie: "Even if I do, five minutes later, I have to admit the truth."
Dating deal breaker: "A girl who says, 'Are you going to eat that?' Just let me enjoy my greasy food!"
Guy truth you should know: "Women think men want them to look flawless. Well, we don't!"
Make-him-melt move: "I love to have my hair played with."
This is hilarious. Well, Cale is well on his way to recording music, as he tried out for Kris Allen's band, and beat the guy he was against, because he was better looking.
My friend, Jordan Wright, also tried out, and lost to a better looking guy. This is so funny.

Broken Heart
Last night, at work, Summer Baker thought she needed to break the news to me and tell me that Andy Samberg is married. I was devastated, to say the least.

First thing when I got home, i googled him, and checked out his Bio. I had to find out for myself.
Good news, Andy is NOT married. That's because I'm going to marry him, of course. I'm sure you will be able to sleep good tonight knowing that.

The Pursuit
A few days ago,
Sasha and Alicia were sitting in our house, while I was at work, with the backdoor open for Bella to go outside to pee as she pleases.
Well, Sasha heard a the leaves crinkling outside, and Alicia automatically assumed it was some boys in our backyard to climb in our shed....
Background.... We have a climbing rockwall in our shed in our backyard that Alicia and Josh built. Boys come over all the time to climb in it. There's always people in our backyard.
Moving forward... Alicia says "GAH! Those boys. I told them that they need to knock on our door when they come over!"
Then she proceeded to walk into the backyard, and looks over at the fence and notices a big black man standing at the gate. He looks at her and took off running across yard and climbed our wooden fence to get into the neighbors yard.
Alicia yells "EXCUSE ME!" and thought about chasing him. It's a good thing she didn't.
Seconds later, 4 men, with guns, ran into our backyard and ask Alicia where he went. She tells them that she saw him sneak around and get in the neighbors shed, and then goes inside to call the police. Oh, I forgot to mention that the big black man was carrying a gun.
Then, a police officer comes into our backyard, and she hangs up the phone... the 4 men had been cops as well.
Well, they caught the man, and took him away, and we are left clueless as to what went down in our backyard three days ago.

Today, Alicia had the clever idea that Sasha and I should follow her on road bikes while she went for her 6 mile run. Sasha and I had never been on road bikes. The seat sits up really high, and you have to lean over the entire time. Sasha did fine, and I had a blast. I also wrecked 3 times.
I'm going biking again tomorrow!!

I want a Marley.
But i guess I'll deal with a Bella.
And Chris as a Sally, who looks exactly like Marley, and she'll be visiting a lot now that Sasha lives here!

job of the week
Personal Assistant.
Question:
How do I gain experience as a personal assistant so that I can become a personal assistant. Everywhere I apply wants me to have at least a years experience. Where does that come from?! Do I pull it out of the air?!

We have been working on this project in my Graphic Design class for about 5 weeks now. I have been finished for the past three, and I'm sick of it. It was supposedly due today, and now it's not due til next Tuesday.
I think I'll skip class Thursday.

Teeth
I stayed up all night Monday night.
Not by choice, but by the massive amount of pain that formed itself in the right side of my mouth.
It started at midnight, and, well, hasn't really ended yet.
I stayed up all night, and called the dentist at 8 a.m. Tuesday. I skipped my classes, because there was no way I could go. The whole reason I was up all night was... anytime I went 2 or more minutes without a piece of ice touching my gums, the pain would return. It was excruchiating. Easily the worse pain I have been in my whole entire life. Seriously.
The pain was so bad that I couldn't tell the nurse if it was coming from the top or the bottom set of teeth. I seriously did not know.
It turns out, a tooth on the top right side of my mouth was absessed. The dentist gave me two shots, which actually worsed the pain by 10 fold for about ten minutes. Then, it all went numb, mostly. He cut open my tooth, filled it with antibiotic, and then filled it back up. He prescribed me an antibiotic and a pain killer to take until Tuesday, when i am scheduled for a root canal.
He also gave me his phone number, because he wasn't quite sure, but had a feeling that there could be an absess on the bottom tooth, which would be why I couldn't decide where the pain was coming from, but he couldn't do anything to the bottom tooth on the same day he did something to the top... something about not being able to numb the top and bottom parts of my mouth at the same time.
Well, the pain is back. It's not nearly as bad as before, and I definently can sleep with it, and since I was exhausted yesterday, I had no trouble sleeping with it last night. The pain is now similar to that of teething pain. Just irritating, rather than throbbing.
The pain I have now is located in a tooth on the bottom. I don't know if he can do anything about the bottom tooth before the root canal on the top, but I plan on calling him in the morning and asking. It's bothering me, and the pain killers make me feel funny. I have a hard time doing my homework, or even staying awake in class. I'm so ready for this to be over.
And, it makes me feel bad about my teeth. I take care of them, seriously.
BUT, the dentist did comment on how well kept my teeth were, and really white. They both asked me if I whiten my teeth, and I said no. I just take care of them. He said that the infections could stem from sinus problems. Phew. What a relief.

After the massive amount of text messages Kris got from the Arkansas area tonight, there's no way he won't be in the top 12.

Day at the Races
Yesterday, Boyd, C Love, and I went to the horse races. C Love is short for Courtney Love. No, I don't know the famous crazy Courtney Love, my friend's name is Courtney Love.
Anyway, Courtney bet on horse 6 and 3 to exacto in race 4. Exacto means come in 1st and 2nd.
Well, it was amazing.
The horses exacto'd
C Love passed out, and was raised by a harness and hovered over the crowd
the crowd awed
Boyd crapped down both legs
the jockees held hands and did a circle around the track
the marching band came out and played Eye of the Tiger (c love's theme song)
AND C love won $350. WoWZERS!
ok ok ok, maybe that didn't happen.
What really happened was, we got to Oaklawn after driving two hours. When we arrived, I got a phone call from Sasha. She was in panic, informing me that I work that night. Umm.. I never work Sunday nights, but for some reason, I had agreed to work for Max so she and her girlfriend could celebrate her gfs birthday, and I had forgotten. I was supposed to be there at three, which was exactly two hours from the moment. I called around, and got Pam to work from 3-5 for me, we stayed for 4 rounds, and then came home. None of us one. The day was already cursed. We'll get them next time.
Also, Bella is driving me crazy! She is not house trained YET! I come home and there are 4 piles of poop, and we only left her here one hour by herself. She rules the house since she has figured out how to open the sliding doors. I love her, but AH!

Treva's
I dogsit for Treva every Thursday night because she works in Heber on Thursdays and Fridays and the company she works for pays for her to stay in a hotel up there. Well, previously, Treva lived in a 3 bedroom house with her cousin, but they decided to move out, and Treva just moved into this brand spanken new studio apartment in downtown Conway. I didn't even know we had studios here. It is awesome. This is my first time to stay here, and I feel at home. She lives right beside the train tracks, and the train doesn't even bother me.... It actually reminds me of Worden. Madi is awesome, and she makes me miss Rogue. GAH.
Also, this apartment reminds me of New York, except it's MUCH bigger, and extremely less expensive. ha. I kinda want my own one bedroomed flat, although I enjoy roommates. It's just, less lonely when you have to stay alone in a small apartment where you can see every nook and cranny. No one can hide from me in here!
Vickie's in Dallas. I hear it's 72 degrees there. That is way better than here. I hate the cold. I'm gonna move to Dallas.

The Sandlot
Remember that movie? It's the one about the huge child-eating dog that lived next door to a baseball field where young boys would play.
Well, when I was young, a dog much similar to this one lived under my back porch, or so I thought. There was wooden fencing around the sides of the porch, so I couldn't see in. I remember picking up speed and launching myself from the porch into the back yard so that the dog couldn't bite off my foot on the way down. I was scared to death of that non existant dog.
